Cotton
Cotton is one of the items that the United States exports the most of each year in consumer goods. From the pillows and sheets of our bedspreads to the clothes on our backs, cotton is widely used. After the cotton is harvested, several strands are wound together to create a strong fabric. Cotton is usually used as a fabric to make the clothing when combined with other less organic fabrics. After the cotton has been made into a product, the product is sold for profit. Cotton is one of The United States' biggest exports for consumer goods. Most of the cotton that we export goes to China, who also use it to make clothing and other such items.
